- Students gain practical computer skills in a range of subjects including; computing principles, word processing (MS Word), spreadsheets and databases (MS Excel), graphic and design (MS Publisher), email and internet (Outlook & Explorer) keyboarding
Career Options
- The qualification provides a sound basis for further education and training for people interested in a career in computing or can lead to the National Certificate in Computing Level 3
- Students will have the skills to gain employment in a range of positions such as Data Entry Operator, Customer Service, Business Administrator, Clerical Worker, Call Centre Worker, Word Processing, Retail Worker, Public Servant, Receptionist, Secretary, Office Administrator
