All prices are per student and are GST exclusive, and don’t include transport, food, overnight staff or mountain bike hire if required.

Assessments that include rafting, climbing/abseiling, and ropes courses include all safety gear and venue hire.

Tents, cookers (but not the gas) and billies are included for camping trips if required (any camping fees are additional).

Safety Audit Certificates provided through our partnership with Captivate Adventures Ltd.

Minimum numbers apply (normally 18 students).

Note these are assessment only options, you will need to teach students some skills for these assessments before they get to us. For example, an indoor climbing session or two before coming on a climbing or high ropes assessment, or riding in class time prior to biking assessment. For low ropes course and rafting assessments, all training is included in the assessment day, as it’s hard to practise anywhere else, but students will still need to be up to date with codes of practice for activities etc they are going to complete. Teacher info kits available if required.

We highly recommend combining these units with Outdoor Management units that all schools have consent to assess for. You can buy assessment resources for these from EONZ.

Kapiti Skills can also offer Outdoor Management units at Level 3. If you’re interested, please let me know and we can work out a plan to deliver them with you.

Note we can combine assessments together. For example, climbing and rafting over 2 days – they get to do both on each day, fulfilling the requirements for both and minimising time out of school.
